Dr. John C. Christensen, LMFT, has over 30 years of experience as an Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapist in private practice in Northern Utah. He treats people with a wide range of emotional and psychiatric difficulties. He works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. John has had a vast array of professional and personal experiences that promote an empathetic and compassionate atmosphere for clients who seek his help. He approaches challenges and symptoms of his clients with curiosity and respect, understanding that his client’s symptoms are often very painful and devastating. He recognizes that conflicts and crises can be used by individuals, couples, and families as an opportunity to grow and ultimately become stronger and more alive. Changing a client’s or a couple’s view of themselves and their world and forgiveness of self and others is a key to this growth process.
